LABSA (Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonic Acid, Dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid) is an organic compound with the functions of emulsifying, dispersing and decontamination. It is mainly used in the manufacture of sodium, calcium and ammonium salts of anionic surfactant alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, etc. It is also used as an emulsifier for organochlorine, organophosphorus pesticides, etc. It can be used as curing catalyst for amino baking varnish, used to formulate various liquid and solid detergents, and also used in various cosmetic formulations. Because it is stable in acidic solution and has good washing performance, it is often used in the preparation of acidic solution detergents such as toilet cleaners.
